Village Show Photography Competition

Dear budding photographers,

It’s time to dust off your cameras to start gathering shots for the forthcoming Wilbrahams and Six Mile Bottom Vegetable, Flower and Produce Show Photography competition. Here are a few pointers describing what we might expect from each class to help you get going. Remember that you may use either a camera or camera phone and you may enter up to two images into each category.

Class 70: Landscape – Your opportunity to present a striking image of a seascape, countryscape or cityscape.

Class 71: Old and New – This image should capture something that shows both Old AND New in a single image.

Class 72: Buildings or Architecture – An image that conveys the majesty of a building or the intricacy of beautiful architecture.

Class 73: Patterns – A photograph of anything that has repeated shapes, colours or objects.

Class 74: Light and Dark – An image to encompass both Light AND Dark. This does not necessarily mean ‘black and white’, but it should be bold with extremes of brightness.

Entries should be e-mailed to vfpphotos@gmail.com by Midnight on Wednesday the 10th of July to allow time for judging.
