Bottisham Airfield Museum wants to hear from you regarding your thoughts on its future. The museum is currently talking to the Heritage Lottery Fund about the possibility of getting substantial funds to restore the original wartime buildings and turn the clock back on some of them to 1944, whilst using modern interpretation to tell the story of this vital WW2 airfield.
The trustees are also looking at other uses for the site such as an education space for children and adult learners, making part of the site available to other heritage and community groups as a heritage hub and expanding the number of heritage themed events.
As part of this process we need your opinions as we will have to evidence the need for such an undertaking to the Heritage Lottery. So please take a couple of minutes to fill in our online survey which can be found at:-
Your help is greatly appreciated.
