Farmers’ Market Community Produce Stall

Blue and red text on yellow background of the sign advertising Food and Craft Market, Saturday You may have noticed a few signs popping up in and around ours and neighbouring villages…trying to get the word out that the first Farmers’ Market of 2024 is this Saturday!

The Memorial Hall Committee will be running the Community Produce Stall. As you probably know, the money made at the Farmers’ Market is fundamental to the smooth running of the hall and the affordable rents we can offer. We are a small committee, so we have to call on the wider community to help out.

We would really appreciate some donated bakes / plants / produce for the stall. If you can contribute, please bring something along to the stall from 9 am onwards on the day. Please wrap any large cakes in clingfilm and bring smaller items in a tin / plastic box with your name on it. Please list any allergens.

If you can’t bake, never mind – come and support the market, meet your neighbours end enjoy a fresh coffee from the Social Club. It should be a good one (as long as the rain holds off). See you there!

Thanks, as ever, for all of your support – it’s what makes these villages special.
