Something Different this Bank Holiday afternoon?
We at Wilbrahams’ Environment Group are excited that the owners of the Quy Hall Estate have agreed to take 40 people on a Walk to showcase some of the many things they are doing in their transition to Nature-friendly farming. Ellen Francis and her husband Henry will show us their work to increase biodiversity, their care for their part of the fen wetland and their small herd of beautiful Devon Red cattle.
We have places left for just 12 people – so if this interests you, act fast! Contact wilbrahamseg@gmail.com and we will confirm whether you are amongst the Twelve.
The Walk will start at 2pm on 5th May from Frog End Farm Fen Road Little Wilbraham (the far end of the lane where it joins the two drove roads). There will be room to park but come on foot or bike if possible. Duration up to 120 minutes, distance 2.5 miles or so (but you can turn back at any point), uneven surfaces so stout footwear advised for the drove/field, bring some water with you. Well behaved dogs welcome.
