A successful Farmers’ Market – thank you

Thanks to everyone who came and shopped at the Farmers’ market yesterday. We were so lucky with the weather; I had been thinking it would be freezing and raining after the week we have just had.

Thanks to Chris Fell for the great photos on Facebook, Andy and Tony Goryn for the setting up, Cheryl Patey and Dru Goryn for keeping everyone fuelled with coffee; Paul Lambton and Sandra Flores for manning the Wilbrahams’ Produce stall and selling so persuasively that we sold out – and of course to all the contributing bakers for their amazing array of delicious goodies.

The market raised £581.32 for hall funds. See you next month, Saturday October 12th – when we will have (drumroll) a sizzling bacon butty stall courtesy of TFM Butchers, so leave room for some breakfast!
